Man Utd players will wear black armbands when they step out to play the Europa finals against Ajax tonight.
This will the club’s mark of respect to the 22 people who lost their lives in the tragic Manchester Arena suicide bombing. The UEFA has also decided to cut short the opening ceremony that was supposed to lead up to the final.
Swedish star Axwell Ingrosso were supposed to perform in the opening ceremony in Stockholm. But now the performance has been axed as a mark of respect to the victims.

The attack took place at the Manchester Arena during pop star Ariana Grande’s concert and it has been reported that 22 innocent people have fallen victims to the attack.

The Man Utd players also had a minute’s silence at their Carrington training ground following the tragic incident. The club also decided to cancel their pre-match press conference.

The whole of the United contingent was present there. Players like Ashely Young, Marcus Rojo and Luke Shaw who were in crutches also made the trip with the club. But somehow Zlatan Ibrahimovic was not seen amongst the travelling contingent.
