Manchester United predicted XI vs Palace

Jose Mourinho has his sights fully set on the Europa League final in the coming week. And this game against Crystal Palace will be nothing but a formality for him.

Team News:

With a top four finish of out question, Mourinho is likely to do a lot of chopping and changing in his first team line up. Mourinho has mentioned a list of 10 academy players who are in contention to start tomorrow’s match.

But most likely only six of these ten players are going to get a start. And one of them will definitely be 16 years old Angel Gomes. Gomes was also seen training with the first team squad earlier this week.

Mourinho has also said he will play a handful of first team players just to give them some game time before the final. Pogba and Mata are likely to start the match in order to up their fitness levels. And with Rashford being the first choice striker for Mourinho for the Europa Final, Martial will start up front in this match.

Jones and Bailly are expected to be the central defensive partnership of the match. While Bailly is not available for the final, Mourinho will mostly likely choose Blind over Jones in the final.

Injuries:

Manchester United has a few injury scares before their match against Crystal Palace.

Smalling is out with a bit of a niggle. But Mourinho insists that it is not serious and he that the Englishman will be fit before the final in Stockholm. Fellaini though is a doubt for this match as well as the final as he is out with a hamstring injury.

Defense: Mitchel, Jones Bailly, Fosu-Mensah.

Midfield: Pogba, Tuanzebe, Mata, Gomes.

Attack: McTominay, Martial.
