French giants PSG are interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United but as per GIVEMESPORT, the Red Devils have no plans to offload him in the summer.

PSG are going to lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid and the Parisian side is said to be very keen on bringing Marcus Rashford on board and they are even ready to offer him a £500,000-a-week contract.

However, Man United do not wish to part ways with the England international despite the fact that he’s scored only eight goals this season across all competitions.

Are Man United right in holding onto Marcus Rashford?

Manchester United will sell Jadon Sancho and Antony in the summer and they are also planning to get rid of Mason Greenwood which is probably why they are unwilling to sell Marcus Rashford.

PSG are reportedly ready to pay up to £80 million for the forward but given today’s market scenario, it will be very hard to find an alternative in that price bracket. Ajax had forced United to shell out £85 million for someone like Antony so finding a long-term replacement for Marcus Rashford will be nothing short of a nightmare.

However, we seriously think United should be looking to cash into Rashford as soon as possible because the 26-year-old has failed to prove his worth at the club.

He made his senior debut for Manchester United back in 2015/16 but to date, he’s only had three decent campaigns. 2019/20 and 2020/21 were the o when he scored 22 and 21 goals respectively and last season was his best, scoring 30 in 56 appearances.

This time around, he’s netted just seven Premier League goals in his 27 appearances despite having an xG of 7.08

This campaign, he’s not only been poor on the pitch but his ill-discipline off the pitch has caused tension between him and the manager. From coming late to training to calling in sick due to late-night partying, Rashford has really tested the patience of his manager.

He scores world-class goals every now and then but somehow fails to finish off simple chances, as was the case on Sunday when he missed the opportunity to seal the match for Man United in regulation time.

Garnacho, who’s also a left-sided attacker has been a much better player than Marcus Rashford this season but because of the England international, he has had to slot onto the right-hand side of the pitch.

Yes, if Man United allow Rashford to leave at the end of this season then they will have to go out and find a replacement but we think, Ten Hag should be brave and sell him to PSG anyway. Garnacho can play on the left wing because that’s his favoured position and then the Man United manager can focus on signing just a top-class right-winger.
