West Ham United beat Arsenal 1-0 at home last weekend and many fans believed that this was Marko Arnautovic’s final game for the Hammers.

Reports have suggested that the London outfit have received a substantial bid for Marko Arnautovic from a Chinese club and the player could leave this week itself.

The Chinese club were ready to offer €35 million for the services of the Austrian and most fans believed that there was no chance that the Hammers were going to reject that bid an offer.

But now reports are suggesting that West Ham have made a decision regarding Marko Arnautovic and the club will not be letting him move out this month.

A top source from the club has told Claret and Hugh“He’s got 3.5 years left on his contract, plus years option.

He’ll NOT be sold in this window given all the circumstances.”

Marko Arnautovic joined the London Stadium from Stoke City in 2017 and last season he literally carried the team on his own shoulders.

This season too, the forward has scored eight goals and provided two assists in just 18 games for the Hammers.

Hence West Ham have chosen to hold onto Marko Arnautovic for the second half of the season – atleast.

Manchester United had shown interest in signing him up but now with Jose Mourinho gone, that rumours has fizzled out completely.

Marko Arnautovic is out of contract at West Ham United in 2022 meaning Manuel Pellegrini is in no hurry to offload the forward.
