Arsenal signed Matteo Guendouzi from FC Lorient during the summer for a transfer fee of €8 million.

And if reports are to be believed then Emery is already planning to offload him at the end of the season.

Unlike other players, Guendouzi has been a great signing for the club and he along with Lucas Torreira are touted as Arsenal’s midfield partnership for the coming seasons.

So why is the manager so inclined in selling him off after just one season?

Well according to the report, PSG have shown an interest in signing Matteo Guendouzi and Thomas Tuchel’s side might make a move for the 19-year-old during the summer.

And it looks like Unai Emery has decided to sell him off in order to gather funds for the transfer window.

The Gunners boss will have only £40 million transfer budget during the summer if the club fails to get back into the Champions League and the boss is in desperate need of money.

Emery has already decided to offload Mesut Ozil at the end of the season and it now it looks like he will also not hesitate to sell Matteo Guendouzi.

Arsenal have reportedly set a £60 million for the midfielder after PSG’s interest in the midfielder was revealed.

It is still not sure if PSG will make a move for Matteo Guendouzi at the end of the season but if they do then the Parisian outfit now know how much they actually have to shell out.

The 19-year-old has so far played in 33 games for the Gunners scoring one goal and providing two assists.
