After the draw vs Man United, Chelsea have moved to the fourth spot of the Premier League table with two games still to play.

The Blues will have to take on Watford and Leicester in their remaining two games but they also have the Europa League semi-finals to look into.

While winning the Europa League will also ensure qualification to the Champions League next season but many experts feel that the Blues have done very little in order to get back amongst the big boys.

When Maurizio Sarri was named the new boss last summer everyone was pretty excited since the former Napoli manager was bringing Sarri-ball to England.

Sarri-ball had caught the attention of everyone in Italy last season and the Chelsea fans were eager to see the famed tactic in use at Stamford Bridge.

But alas, none of that has happened.

Chelsea have looked lacklustre this season and almost all of the new signings by Maurizio Sarri have failed to deliver.

And speaking after Chelsea’s draw, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed why Sarri-ball has not picked up pace this season.

‘For Sarri it is his first season in England,’ Wenger told beIN Sports(via Metro).

‘He certainly likes a game with possession his team has good possession but they lack goals.

‘If you compare the possession they have – always in every game around 70 per cent – and the number of goals they score, I think they have not enough players who are going behind defenders.

‘They don’t have enough pace to take advantage.

‘Hazard has to come deep to make the difference on his own sometimes.’
