West Ham United have made a terrible start to the new Premier League season losing all the four games up until now.

The Hammers are now rock bottom on the league table with a goal difference of minus 8 which means that Manuel Pellegrini’s side should get themselves ready for yet another relegation battle during the first half of the season.

Pellegrini was appointed as the new boss earlier on during the summer transfer window and the former City boss made a host of new signings. But it seems that all those new players have done very little to revive the fate of the club.

Yes, the Hammers have had some tough games in the form of Liverpool and Arsenal but the reality is that they have also lost to the likes of Bournemouth and Wolves.

But it seems that all this poor form has been a blessing in disguise for one player.

Midfielder Moses Makasi who was not scheduled to be a part of this season’s plans has now been included in the 25-man squad for the Premier League which hints to the fact that the manager plans to use him during the current campaign.

The 22-year-old joined League One side Plymouth Argyle in January but after playing just seven games for the club, Moses Makasi returned back to London with a knee injury.

The midfielder did sign a new one-year contract extension in June but many believed that this was only done by the club to buy some time for finding an eligible buyer.

But now that Moses Makasi has been included in the 25-man squad it gives a new array of hope to the midfielder in reviving his career at West Ham.

While Makasi is yet to make a senior appearance for the Hammers but the 22-year-old has made close to 70 appearances for the club in the Premier League 2. And if West Ham keep performing so badly then Moses Makasi will very soon get his Premier League debut.
