West Ham United have been able to gather up a pretty great forward line up this season but it looks like Javier Hernandez could very well be on his way out of the club.

Chicharito joined the Hammers in 2017 from Bayer Leverkusen and since then, the Mexican has been a strong part of West Ham’s first team squad.

During the 2018-19 season, Chicharito has played 28 games for the Hammers in all competitions and the forward has chipped in with eight goals and three assists despite coming off the bench for most of these games.

But now it looks like Newcastle United are eyeing a move for the former Man United man now that he is about to enter the final year of his contract.

Chicharito was about to head out of the London Stadium in January itself and Valencia was scheduled to be his next possible destination but the move fell through eventually after the Spanish side changed their minds.

Now Claret and Hugh are reporting that the Hammers have made up their mind to cash in on the striker and Newcastle United looks to be his next possible destination.

West Ham have reportedly set a price tag of 10 million pounds and some experts feel a number of other clubs too might be enticed to make a move for Chicharito given the lucrative transfer amount.

The main reason why the London outfit are willing to sell off the forward is because the way Manuel Pellegrini sets up his side.

The West Ham manager usually plays with one attacker which in most circumstances is Marko Arnautovic meaning most of Hernandez’s appearances have been coming from the bench.

And now that Arnie has committed his long-term future to the club, Pellegrini feels he has no use of Chicarito and that the club should cash in on him during the summer transfer window.
