Liverpool have been in fine form this season in the Premier League but it is the Champions League that has Jurgen Klopp worrying.
The Reds are yet to lose a game in the league but their Champions League group have been thrown wide open after Klopp’s men lost their group stage game to Red Star Belgrade 2-0.
The loss means that Liverpool are now second in Group C with six points(tied with Napoli) and PSG are right on their heels with five points.
And next up the Anfield outfit travel to Paris in order to take on PSG in what could very well be a group-defining match.
Liverpool won the reverse fixture 3-2 which will surely give Jurgen Klopp and his men a whole lot of confidence.
And now the fact that PSG might miss two of their top players, Liverpool will surely be looking to come back home with three points.
PSG have confirmed that both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are suffering from injuries and rumours have it that the duo might miss the Champions League encounter with Liverpool next week.
Neymar has suffered a right adductor strain while on international duty while teenager Kylian Mbappe has picked up a bruised right shoulder.
The report suggested that PSG are sweating over the injuries over their superstars but they are not ruling out their presence just yet.
Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will undergo a 48-hour treatment following which the medical staff will conduct yet another evaluation.
If the players miss the clash against Liverpool then PSG will surely be toothless in attack and with the forward line up that Jurgen Klopp’s team has, the French outfit might very well be playing in the Europa League next year.
