Olivier Giroud Chelsea

Olivier Giroud is struggling to get game time at Chelsea this season and it is more or less confirmed through multiple reports that he is planning to move out.

Giroud joined the Blues from Arsenal in order to play more matches but under new boss Frank Lampard, he is now the third choice striker behind Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi.

And recently there have been rumours that the Blues are willing to sell him off during the January transfer window.

During the 2019-20 season, Oliveri Giroud has only managed to play four games in the Premier League and has been on the pitch for a total of just 120 minutes.

Despite playing so little football this season, he has still received a call-up to the French squad during the current international break but if things do not get better for him then soon enough he will be out of favour for the Les Blues too.

Now though it seems like Serie A side Inter Milan are interested in signing Olivier Giroud during the January transfer window.

Inter are currently being managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and they have made a very solid start to the 2019-20 season.

While Romelu Lukaku has done a very good job up front for Inter but it looks like Conte is giving serious thought about bringing in Olivier Giroud as a backup.

As per the rumours, Chelsea want around €6-7 million for the sale of the Frenchman which is something the Serie A side can easily afford.

Now what remains to be seen is whether the Blues agree to offload Olivier Giroud at the start of the new year especially with their transfer ban still very much active.
