Here’s one thing that even Allegri would not have done with Paul Pogba: Agree?

Ever since Ole Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United, the biggest thing that he has done is give Paul Pogba a free role.

This is something that Jose Mourinho had failed to do constantly and the World Cup winner was tied down – so much so that Paul Pogba had to even play in defensive midfielder for some time.

Obviously this time of tactics do not bring out the best in Paul Pogba and eventually, his relationship with Jose Mourinho had broken down.

During the past couple of games that Man United played under Jose Mourinho, Pogba did not even make it to the first XI and reports suggested that the Portuguese had labelled Paul Pogba as a virus.

But all that is now a thing of the past and the Frenchman seems to have gotten his mojo back under Solskjaer.

And speaking about Paul Pogba’s impact, Scholes has claimed that the interim boss has done something with the midfielder that perhaps even Max Allegri would not have done.

“It’s difficult. Obviously, that’s what Ole has done. I’m not sure that’s Allegri at Juventus would have had that kind of attitude with him,” he said.

“I think it’s just down to the player. I’ve been one of his biggest critics and I hated doing it, but the reason I was doing it is because I’ve played alongside the lad.

“I’ve seen over the years what a talent this player is. For the first part of this season and probably last year he was playing for himself.

“I think he lost total respect for the manager, which I don’t agree with totally.

“Now he’s playing with his brain and he’s using the quality he has. You’ve seen the last 8-10 games what a player he is and what a player he can be.”
