Liverpool are looking to get their campaign back on track after having a terrible fortnight. They were knocked out of two tournaments within a span of 3 days. And they are constantly falling behind in the Premier League title race. They are winning in their last 3 matches. Jurgen Klopp will not be looking forward to playing against Chelsea at the back of such form. While on the other hand, Chelsea are unbeaten in their last four matches, their last defeat coming against Spurs. Conte’s men are in fine form and are favourites to win the Premier League crown.

Liverpool have some good news, at last:

Liverpool’s effort to bring back Sadio Mane met with a few hiccups and he arrived home late as a result of which he missed Monday’s training session. But Klopp will see Mane in Tuesday’s training and decide whether he will be selected for the game or not. They also have Firmino in available after the Brazilian’s court date was pushed back by 24 hours. Firmino has a court hearing after he was booked for a drunken driving on Christmas Eve last year. Chelsea fans will be eagerly hoping that Mane makes it to the first team as he is the creative spark they have been desperately missing.

Chelsea looks sorted:

Chelsea have few injury worries coming into this match. Most of Conte’s first team players are available for selection. And he will definitely field his strongest first side against Liverpool with Deigo Costa being the front man.Chelsea are sitting pretty at the top with 55 points, 8 points away from their nearest rivals Arsenal. A win for Chelsea will further cement their position. While on the other hand, if Liverpool loses then they can wave the title race goodbye.
