West Ham United have been linked with a series of strikers during the January transfer window and Genoa’s Krzysztof Piatek was easily the most talked about names.

Piatek joined Genoa from Polish side Cracovia on a four-year deal for a transfer fee of €4 million.

And within just one season, the 23-year-old is one of the most talked about striker in the Serie A.

This season, Piatek has played in 21 games for Genoa managing to score a staggering 19 goals.

And this fine form has caught the attention of West Ham United who are willing to pay big money in order to sign the player during the January transfer window.

The Hammers spent a large amount of money on player transfers during the summer but the club are reportedly willing to shell out £35million for Piatek.

While this amount is pretty close to what Genoa want for the centre-forward but reports suggest that Piatek will not be joining the London club.

As per the latest rumours, Piatek is not too keen to move to Premier League and wants to join AC Milan.

Milan are also interested in signing the 23-year-old and it seems that the San Siro will be the next possible destination for Piatek.

But if the striker is eager to join AC Milan then he will have to wait until the end of the season since Milan are not interested in spending that much money during the middle of the season.
