Here are the major English Premier League transfer news for the weekend:

Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal:

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for a reported fee of around £72 million.

The deal is expected to be wrapped up in the next 24 to 48 hours as an agreement between the Gunners and Pepe’s representatives is yet to be finalised.

Sean Longstaff not likely to join Man United:

Man United have been chasing Newcastle United youngster Sean Longstaff for some time now but Mike Ashley has made it pretty clear that the midfielder is not up for sale this summer.

Ashley said: “The message we want to put out is that he is not for sale. If you’ve got one like Sean – keep him.”

Arsenal have agreed to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a significant amount of money which let many to believe that the Gunners might sell off either Lacazette or Aubameyang in order to raise funds.

Christian Eriksen has been tipped to move out of Tottenham Hotspur this summer as Real Madrid have eyed him but now it looks like the playmaker is ready to commit his future to the North London club.

Reports suggest Eriksen is ready to sign a new contract at Spurs.

Chelsea forward not moving out:

Michy Batshuayi has been tipped to move out of Chelsea with so many players fighting for the striker’s role under Lampard.

But now it looks like the Belgium international has chosen to stay and fight for his place in the starting XI.

Harry Wilson moving out of Liverpool?

Winger Harry Wilson spent the 2019-20 season out on loan to Derby County but he has returned back to Liverpool for the pre-season training camp.

But with the right-wing position already overloaded, Liverpool are looking to send him out on loan once again and now DerbY County seem to have made contact to bring back the 22-year-old.

Ryan Kent has been linked with a return back to Rangers next season but there is a big possibility that Jurgen Klopp could keep the youngster at Anfield.
