Jack Butland Rangers FC news
Ibrox Rangers

Rangers FC have a healthy 3-0 lead over Red Star Belgrade from the first leg so they should be moving into the next round of the Europa League quite easily.

Red Star have been in good form at home as they are unbeaten in their last 7 games at the Stadion Rajko Mitic. But the Gers are in even better form as they have not tasted defeat in their previous 11 matches.

The Serbian side have lost just once at home this season so Rangers will definitely be up for a challenge but we don’t think Dejan Stankovic’s side will be able to cause an upset on Thursday.

Rangers team news vs Red Star Belgrade:

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has only two injury concerns going into this tie so he will be able to name his strongest side for the 2nd leg.

The manager will not want to make any unnecessary to his starting line up and we expect him to name the same side which beat Red Star 3-0 in the 1st leg.

This means several players who played against Dundee on Sunday will probably move to the bench.

Filip Helander paired up with Goldson in central defence vs Dundee but Leon Balogun will come back into the side in midweek.

Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo both got minutes under their belt during the weekend but they are not expected to make it to the starting XI this time around.

John Lundstram will also come into the side in midfield while Joe Aribo will replace Aaron Ramsey on the right-wing.

Ianis Hagi and Nnamdi Ofoborh are the only two players missing and both of them are ruled out from Thursday’s game.

Rangers predicted line up vs Red Star Belgrade:

Predicted Starting XI(4-2-3-1): McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Bassey; Lundstram, Ryan Jack; Kamara, Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo; Alfredo Morelos.
