Rangers vs Leipzig
Ibrox Stadium Rangers

Rangers lost the first derby of the 2018-19 season this past weekend as the Hoops picked up all three points thanks to a solitary goal from Olivier Ntcham.

While the Celtic fans have been raving about their team’s performance on Sunday the Rangers fans, as well as the players, are busy complaining about the foul that was not given.

Ryan Jack was fouled right after the hour mark but the referee Willie Collum chose to ignore it and let the play more on – shortly after which the Bhoys scored their only goal of the match.

Steven Gerrard had revealed that the referee chose to ignore the advice of his fourth official who thought that it was blatant foul of Ryan Jack and now the midfielder himself has revealed that the referee made a mistake.

Ryan Jack said“I felt that Rogic took my leg away when I was in the air and when I came down I went over on my ankle. You get some decisions, you don’t get some and that one was costly.

“It was tough to take because that was the goal that won the game but it’s the same as it always is. You have to deal with it.

“We’re the ones that lose the three points and we have to live with that, whereas if it is a free-kick, I don’t know if anything gets done about it if referees get things wrong.”

The midfielder did not stop there as he suggested that Willie Collum should be demoted from the Scottish Premiership as a punishment for his wrong decisions.

“I don’t know what is in place if referees do make mistakes,” Jack added.

“Should he be put down the divisions?

“I think that’s what should happen. If you’re making mistakes time and time again, why should you be refereeing top games?”
