Rangers FC have been on a spending spree ever since they appointed their new manager Steven Gerrard at the start of the summer.
The Gers have already made seven signings during the summer transfer window and if the management has hinted that more players are slated to come in before the start of the season.
And if the reports are anything to go by then the Light Blues are on the verge of making their eighth signing of the summer.
Rangers are planning to bring AS Roma striker Umar Sadiq on a season-long loan to the Ibrox.
When Sadiq was first discovered by Roma he was playing for Italian side Spezia and the Romans wasted no time in bringing him to the Stadio Olimpico on a season-long loan.
And before the loan spell could come to an end, Roma made the deal permanent and bought the player for 2 million pounds.
Umar Sadiq has been impressing for the youth team constantly but the 21-year-old is unable to break into the first team – as of yet.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants the striker on a season-long loan, given the fact that the manager right now has only Alfredo Morelos as his major striking option.
And Umar Sadiq is no stranger to loan moves and has already been to three different clubs since joining AS Roma.
Roma widely recognized in Italy as the team who has one of the best scouting teams and if they go out and splash 2 million pounds on a youngster then you can be pretty sure that the player has potential.
Now the only thing that Umar Sadiq needs is to get regular first-team football.
