Manchester United are being constantly linked with a move for Wolves forward Raul Jimenez and a recent report in RTP had suggested that Nuno Espirito Santo is already on the verge of bringing in a replacement for the 29-year-old.

The report claims: “Sporting de Braga striker Paulinho is on the verge of strengthening the English Wolverhampton team.

“The footballer heads to England in a €30 million deal to join the most Portuguese team in the main English league.

“The transfer, mediated by businessman Jorge Mendes, is practically concluded, you know, RTP.”

Now according to Bleacher Report, Wolves are planning to quote a really enormous transfer fee for the 29-year-old.

MEN have suggested: “MEN Sport revealed earlier today United insist there is ‘nothing in’ reports they have agreed a move for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.

“That hasn’t stopped the gossip from circulating, however, with Bleacher Report now suggesting it will take between £60m and £70m to sign the forward.”

Raul Jimenez has been in fine form for Wolves during the recently concluded season, scoring 17 and assisting six goals in 38 Premier League matches. And there’s no denying he will be a fine addition to whichever team he joins during the summer.

But all said and done, Man United will think twice before spending such a huge amount on the Mexican especially since they are also trying to bring in players like Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish.

Wolves are using half of their quoted price to bring in Paulinho meaning Nuno is clearly looking to make a huge profit from the sale of Jimenez and then use that money to rebuild his squad for the upcoming season.
