Arsenal have had a woeful start to the new year, the have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Man United and now they have also slid down to sixth on the Premier League table.

And worse, the Gunners have been able to make only one signing last month in the form of Denis Suarez.

The manager claimed last week that he wanted to sign three new players but the management could only bring in one.

But apart from the arrival, youngster Emile Smith Rowe has also left the club on loan.

The 18-year-old midfielder joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a loan until the end of the season but the Arsenal fans are still keeping a keen eye on him.

Emile Smith Rowe had made four appearances in the Premier League 2 for Arsenal this season and was also involved in the same number of games in the Europa League.

But the lack of enough first-team action prompted the manager to send him out but Unai Emery has always maintained that the youngster has a future at the Emirates.

And now that Emile Smith Rowe has moved to Germany the Arsenal fans are urging RB Leipzig to play him.

The midfielder is yet to make an appearance for RB Leipzig since his swift and with each passing game, the Gunners fans seem to get restless.

Well, German clubs are known for their hilarious sense of humour on social media and this time was no different as RB Leipzig’s Twitter account chose to mock the Arsenal fans over their huge desperation of Rowe’s debut in Germany.

But what the Arsenal fans actually might now know is that Emile Smith Rowe is currently recovering from a groin strain and the RB Leipzig boss has confirmed that the midfielder will likely be out until the end of February.

RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick: “He has a groin injury suffered in London and will not be able to train fully with us for the next two or three weeks. We have to wait and see for now until we get him properly fit.”
