Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane have reignited their hopes of signing David De Gea from Manchester United.

It is being reported that after Real failed to land Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco the club’s president Florentino Perez has shifted his focus to the Spanish shot stopper – a long term target for the club.

Real Madrid are said to be preparing a bid of around £46 million as they make one final attempt to lure De Gea back to Madrid. But Manchester United are adamant that they will not part ways will their No 1 as the club had already rejected a bid from Real earlier in the transfer window.

Real though are making the bid with the hope that David De Gea will want to return back to Spain and might start a revolt of sorts with the United management, similar to what Philippe Coutinho is doing at Liverpool right now. Though Real very well know that this is nothing but a shot in the dark but they clearly see no harm is making one final attempt before the transfer window slams shut at the end of this month.
