Brazilian legend Ronaldinho’s bank accounts were frozen after he and his brother failed to pay a fine of €2 million.

The fine was due to an environmental damage caused by a construction project the brothers carried out in a protected area in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

The courts froze Ronaldinho’s bank accounts but to everyone’s shock, only €6 were found in his account.




Yes, former Barcelona legend Ronaldinho only had €6 in his bank accounts.




After this came into light the court immediately ordered to seize Ronaldinho’s passport.

Ronaldinho does have dual citizenship after he was awarded a Spanish citizenship during his playing days at Barcelona.




Some reports claim that the player’s current whereabouts are not known but he was present in China and Japan for commercial activities.

Ronaldinho joined Barcelona during the 2003-04 season and went on to play over 200 games for the La Liga outfit – scoring 94 goals.








Ronaldinho moved out of Barca at the end of the 2007-08 season and joined AC Milan where he played for three seasons.

But ever since leaving Milan, the Brazilian’s career has been on a decline and he has moved around various countries playing for various leagues.




Ronaldinho announced his retirement in January this year but he has not played a professional game since 2015.

The 38-year-old was recently named as an official ambassador for Barcelona following which he represented the Catalans in many events.
