Rangers FC are expected to lose a couple of their first team players during the summer transfer window and one of them might be Ross McCrorie
McCrorie has come up through the ranks at Ibrox but this season, the midfielder has found it really hard to get game time under Steven Gerrard.
During the 2018-19 season, the 21-year-old has managed to make only 31 appearances for the Gers across all competitions and it looks like Gerrard is ready to part ways with him.
But despite not getting the minutes under his new boss, Ross McCrorie had recently claimed that he has improved a lot under the former Liverpool man.
“Not getting a chance recently is part and parcel of football,” Ross McCrorie said.
“I trust the Rangers manager (Gerrard) and we’ll see what happens.
“I feel as if I’m developing really well though. I feel I’m a far better player than I was last season and at the start of the season, especially with the run of games I played.
“I feel like I’m 10 times the player I was. I’m also definitely a midfielder now! I feel I’ve improved massively.
“I feel more natural in midfield and I’m a more rounded player. I’ve improved near enough every aspect of my game.
“That’s partly because of playing and also because I’ve been putting the extra work in at training. I’ve been doing the wee extra bits with the coaches and in the gym.”
While some rumours claim that Gerrard is ready to sell him off permanently but that eventually might not be the case.
Most of the major publications in Scotland have claimed that Ross McCrorie will only be loaned out so that he can get some much-needed experience under his belt.
It is still unclear as to where he might land up but last year Swansea were keen to bring him on board and Ross McCrorie could very well end up at the Liberty Stadium next season.
