Sadio Mane is currently playing in the AFCON for Senegal and he has a great chance of lifting the trophy this summer.

The forward has had a fine tournament scoring three goals and two assists up until now and next up, Senegal take on Tunisia in the semi-finals.

But before the high-profile game current Senegalese FA boss, Saee Seck has urged Sadio Mane to leave Liverpool and move to Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane interested in signing him.

“Everybody in the world knows that Mane is in the top ten best footballers in the world and he has achieved significant success at Liverpool in the past season,” Seck told the Mirror Sports in Cairo.

“He alongside Mo Salah and Firmino are phenomenal. But this is football and he won the Champions League last season and he has the chance to go to Madrid.

“For me I think it’s the best club in the world, even if I am a Barcelona fan I still think Real is the best and Mane should be thinking of that offer seriously.

“The career of a footballer is very short and sometimes you don’t get the chance a lot so if it’s there, and I think Zidane likes him, why not?

“He played in Southampton and when the chance came he took it and went to Liverpool and he has held the challenge well in England. I think he will do well with another challenge in another country.”

Madrid have been linked with Sadio Mane for a couple of months now but we do not feel that Zidane will try and move for the Senegal international now that he has signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

Both Sadio Mane and Hazard play on the left flank meaning it wouldn’t make any sense to spend heavily on the Liverpool man.

This means the winger will playing for Jurgen Klopp’s side next season but he is expected to miss out on the first few games of the new Premier League season since the Liverpool boss will be giving Sadio Mane his full-length time off after the AFCON.
