Southampton take West Ham United in the 5th Round of the FA Cup this weekend and the Saints go into this match at the back of some fine form.

After beating Norwich 2-0 last weekend, the Saints extended their unbeaten run to six games and they will be looking to continue this form by progressing to the next round of the FA Cup.

West Ham United are in good form themselves, particularly in the FA Cup where they are undefeated in their previous five matches but since both the managers are expected to make changes to their starting line up, it will be hard to predict which way the match will swing.

Recently, Ralph Hasenhuttl has been using the 4-4-2 formation and we think he will stick with the same tactics in midweek as well.

Saints team news vs West Ham United:

The manager is going to make a series of changes to his first XI with the likes of Bednarek, Forster and Livramento all dropping to the bench.

Ward-Prowse is expected to keep his place but Romeu, who was brilliant against the Canaries will likely get a watching brief in midweek.

Che Adams scored against Norwich on Saturday but the 25-year-old will be rested as Shane Long partners Armando Broja up front.

Alex McCarthy suffered a thigh injury in training earlier this month and he is ruled out along with Lyanco who is sidelined for two odd months with a hamstring injury.

Nathan Tella is recovering from a groin injury and while he is pushing to get fit but the Saints vs West Ham game will come too early for him.

Saints predicted line up vs West Ham United:

Predicted Starting Lineup(4-4-2): Caballero; Thierry Small, Salisu, Stephens, Valery; Ward-Prowse, Diallo, Redmond, Walcott; Shane Long, Broja.
