Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been a revelation ever since he took charge of Manchester United and so far the caretaker boss has lost only two games.
Solskjaer was brought into the steady the ship once Jose Mourinho was sacked last December but the Norwegian has quickly turned Man United into a force to be reckoned with.
Man United have only lost a single game in the Premier League and that too came this past weekend against Arsenal.
Initially, Solskjaer was supposed to take care of the team until the management found a new permanent boss. But as things stand the disciple of Sir Alex is the frontrunner to become the next boss.
Under Ole, Man United have managed to pick up points against the likes of Spurs and Liverpool and they have also beaten the likes of PSG away from home.
But according to Sam Allardyce, Solskjaer is not a master tactician.
”I was always lucky when I beat Manchester United, or Arsenal or Chelsea,” Allardyce said on BeIN Sport.
“I was never a master tactician, I was just lucky because they had a bad day. Now, he (Solskjaer) is at Manchester United and he’s a master tactician because he’s at Manchester United, not lucky.
“If he was in my position with a lesser team than the opposition who have spent hundreds of millions more than you…. and you beat them… then they’re below par and you’re lucky,
“That aside, he has to find better players so Manchester United can challenge against Liverpool and against Manchester City as quickly as possible,
“As good as a crest of this wave will be, the test will be where do you go next season and how quickly can you get those players.”
Under Solskjaer, Man United have managed to win 14 out of the 18 games that they have played across all competitions and right now their next focus will be to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup by beating Wolves.
