West Ham United travel to the Etihad on Wednesday to take on Manchester City.

And the looks of it, Samir Nasri could be fit to face his old team.

Samir Nasri joined Man City from Arsenal in 2011 and went on to have a couple of great seasons for the Citizens.

The Frenchman left the club in the summer of 2017 but by that time had fallen way below his fallen standards.

But Samir Nasri was once again given a chance to revive his career when West Ham United bought him in January on a six-month loan spell.

Since his arrival at the London Stadium, Samir Nasri has managed to play just three games for the Hammers before picking up a calf injury during the end of January.

Now though, he might just be back in time to face his former club as some reports claim that Samir Nasri could be deemed fit for Wednesday’s game.

Normalcy dictates that Manuel Pellegrini will not try and risk a rusty player against City but some reports claim that the West Ham boss is very much aware the damage Nasri can cause and will hence name him in the first XI.

If Samir Nasri were to start then it would be either Snodgrass or Mark Noble will make way for him.

But given how deep Noble generally operates, it will most certainly be Snodgrass who will be sacrificed.
