Chelsea beat West Ham United 2-0 in the Premier League on Monday and it was Eden Hazard who was the star of the show once again.

The Belgium international scored a brace on Monday in order to secure three points for the Blues and help them occupy the third spot on the league table.

But after this brilliant performance, many pundits once again raised the familiar question.

Will Eden Hazard stay with Chelsea for the 2019-20 season?

Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid during the summer and reports claim Zinedine Zidane has marked him as one of his main transfer targets.

And speaking after the game, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri was asked whether Eden Hazard would be staying at Stamford Bridge the next season.

And here’s what he had to say.

As quoted by BBC Sport, Sarri said: “Hazard played a wonderful match. He did well against Brighton too. We are very lucky because it is very easy to win the match when he is able to make that kind of difference.

“We are trying to improve to become one of the best teams in England and as a consequence in Europe but I think that I have to respect his decision.”

Chelsea are under some serious turmoil and if they fail to secure a Champions League spot for the next season, they might find it really hard to keep hold of their biggest star.

But clearly, Sarri does not seem to tension which could mean either of two things.

Maybe Eden Hazard has already committed his long-term future to Chelsea Football Club.

Or the Belgium international is on his way out and the manager has already set the ball rolling in order to find a suitable replacement.
