Rangers have signed Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe during the January transfer window – the club confirmed earlier this week.

While Jermain Defoe has signed an 18-month loan deal with the Gers, midfielder Steven Davis has joined until the end of the season.

But apart from these two players, the Teddy Bears have also made two other signings.

Last week the club had confirmed that Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara and Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones have signed pre-contracts and will move to Ibrox at the end of the season.

Rangers released a statement this past weekend which read:

“RANGERS are today delighted to confirm that the Club has signed pre-contract agreements with Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones.

“Both players will join the club in the summer when their contracts with their existing clubs expire, with both players signing four-year contracts.”

Now though fresh reports are suggesting that Dundee are willing to sell off Glen Kamara to Rangers this month itself.

Kamara is out of contract at the end of the season but the SPFL outfit are willing to let go of the former Arsenal graduate is Rangers pay a transfer fee for him.

Rangers have already secured a deal for the defensive midfielder meaning the Gers should not waste unnecessary money on him – in normal circumstances.

But right now the Gers manager could very much use the services of a defensive midfielder.

According to TransferMarkt, Glen Kamara is valued at 450,000 euros but Dundee will most certainly sell him off for much lower than that.

So we feel Steven Gerrard should atleast hold initial talks with Dundee and listen to what they are demanding for Glen Kamara.

And if the transfer fee is within the reach of the Gers then they should most definitely go ahead and bring the 23-year-old to Ibrox this month itself.
