Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac is on his way out of the Emirates as he looks to join Schalke on a loan deal, according to Bild.

Recently Sky Germany had claimed: “According to Sky information, FC Schalke is working on a return campaign for Arsenal London’s Sead Kolasinac.

“According to Sky information, Kolasinac is willing to return to Germany for private reasons. Initial discussions have already been held. The big sticking point in the negotiations between the three parties is currently still the salary of the defensive player.

“A loan to S04, in which the salary of the Gunner professional is to be divided between Arsenal and Schalke, is up for debate.

“But even with a division of the salary, the defender would have to make cuts. At Arsenal, Kolasinac currently earns around eight million euros.”

Now as per the latest report, the deal is on the verge of completion and Sead Kolasinac is also willing to take a pay cut in order to return to Germany this summer.

Should Arsenal let Sead Kolasinac head out?

Mikel Arteta clearly thinks Sead Kolasinac is surplus to his requirements which is why the manager has not hesitated to send him out.

This also goes on to show that young Kieran Tierney is going to be the first-choice left-back for Arsenal during the 2020/21 season.

The Bosnian joined the Gunners from Schalke itself on a free transfer back in 2017 but last summer he managed to feature in only 32 matches for the Gunners in all competitions.

Also, Arteta has Bukayo Saka at his disposal who can also be used as a make-shift left-back so clearly the boss will have no use of Sead Kolasinac anytime soon.
