Arsenal will take on Huddersfield in the Premier League this weekend and going into the match Unai Emery has a series of injury concerns.

The likes of Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are already missing through long term injuries and now reports are suggesting that Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has also fallen ill.

Initial reports suggest that the Gabon international might be able to feature in the matchday squad but since he picked up the illness so late in the week some pundits feel, Unai Emery will not risk playing him.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned back to full fitness and should be named in the matchday squad but it remains to be seen whether the Armenian will get a starting role now that Denis Suarez has been signed.

But without a doubt, the biggest boost for the Arsenal manager is the return of defender Sokratis.

Sokratis picked up an ankle knock during Arsenal’s FA Cup defeat at the hands of Man United a couple of weeks ago and since then the summer signing has been out injured.

But now Sokratis has most certainly returned to training but what remains to be seen is whether he is match-fit or not.

If Sokratis cannot make it to the first XI then it will Laurent Koscielny and Mavropanos who will play in central defence.

In the absence of the Greek international, Arsenal have been leaking goals like crazy and if the Gunners lose their game vs Huddersfield then they might very well fall six points behind the top-four spot.
