Spurs sacked Mauricio Pochettino recently and brought in Jose Mourinho as his replacement which has helped most of the players regain their form.

And next up, Tottenham hit the road in order to take on Jose Mourinho’s former side Manchester United in the Premier League.

After the win against Bournemouth, Spurs[5th] have closed their gap with Chelsea to six points whereas Manchester United are languishing in the 9th spot.

While this might seem a big gap but the difference between the two sides is only two points meaning if Man United somehow beat Spurs on Wednesday then Solskjaer’s men will leapfrog over the Lilywhites in the league table.

Spurs team news vs Man United:

Jose Mourinho has very little injuries to deal with right now and the absence of Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies might be the only cause of concern for the manager.

With Lloris still out with an injury, it will be Gazzaniga who will play in goal and the stand-in keeper has done more than a decent job.

Sanchez and Alderweireld playing in central defence vs the Cherries as Vertonghen played as the left-back. But against Manchester United Danny Rose is expected to return back to his familiar role meaning Vertonghen will replace Sanchez.

Ndombele and Eric Dier started in midfield during the weekend and this duo looks to be the first choice pairing for Jose Mourinho right now.

Sissoko played on the wing vs Bournemouth but keeping Man United’s fragile defence in mind, Mourinho might very well opt to start with Lucas Moura on the right flank while Son operates on the other side.

Dele Alli seems to have found his form after the arrival of Jose Mourinho and the England international will play in the hole just behind striker Harry Kane against United in midweek.

Jose Mourinho will be itching to pick up all three points against his former employers and the Portuguese certainly has the team which can play attacking football meaning he will not necessarily have to park the bus when Spurs visit Old Trafford.
