Arsenal have qualified for the Europa League semi-finals after beating Napoli in the previous round.

The Gunners picked up a 3-0 win vs the Serie A side with the second leg win coming this Thursday.

Unai Emery’s men have looked really faulty during away games and in each of their previous away legs in the Europa League, the Gunners have made a mockery out of themselves.

This time though it was different as Arsenal managed to keep a clean sheet and one goal from Alexandre Lacazette was more than enough to secure the win.

Now the North London outfit will take on Valencia in the semi-final, the first leg of which is scheduled to be played on the third of May.

But a number of Arsenal fans were not very optimistic about this tie especially since Emery’s men would have to face Leicester City in the Premier League away from home just three days before the tie.

The Foxes are in no sense a walk-over side and given that Arsenal are still fighting for that top-four spot, Unai Emery is expected to name his strongest XI at the King Power Stadium.

Now though, the Premier League have confirmed that the Monday night fixture has been rescheduled to Sunday.

The Premier League released a statement on their official website in which they said:

“Following Arsenal’s qualification for the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League, their match against Leicester City has been rescheduled.

“The Gunners were due to visit King Power Stadium at 20:00 BST on Monday 29 April but that match will now take place on Sunday 28 April at 16:00 BST.”

This is undoubtedly a great thing which means the Gunners will now have one more day to rest before they take on the La Liga side in the Europa League on Thursday.
