Arsenal beat Napoli in the Europa League but the major concern for most people was the injury picked up by Aaron Ramsey during the second leg in Naples.

The Welsh international picked up the injury right before Alexandre Lacazette scored the only goal for the night and now rumours are ripe that Aaron Ramsey has played his final game for the Gunners.

The midfielder is on his way out of the Emirates this summer after having agreed to join Juventus on a free transfer for the upcoming campaign.

And speaking after the 1-0 win over Napoli, Unai Emery has come out to claim that there is every possibility that Aaron Ramsey might have already played the final game of his long Arsenal career.

“It is a muscular injury,” Emery explained(as reported).

“Normally it is going to be some weeks outside the team. But he was in a very good moment and working very well but we have other players ready and waiting.”

During the 2018-19 season, Aaron Ramsey has been a key figure for the Gunners and despite the fact that the midfielder will be leaving, Unai Emery has not shied away from using him extensively almost every weekend.

As of now, Arsenal have seven games to play in this season which also includes the two-legged Europa League semi-final vs Valencia and Unai Emery would be hoping that his key midfield man will be able to get himself fit.

But one saving grace for Arsenal is that they do not play any big names in the Premier League so the manager will not be too concerned about the absence of Aaron Ramsey.

If Arsenal manage to reach the Europa League final then there’s a huge possibility that the North London club might come face to face against Chelsea and it is here that Emery would want the luxury of having Aaron Ramsey in his starting XI.
