Neymar playing for Brazil
Neymar Brazil

Brazil were knocked out of the 2018 World Cup in humiliating fashion by Belgium and once again Neymar and co failed to live up the expectations.

After a rather forgetful 2014 World Cup, a lot of people had pinned their hopes on the five-time champions to lift the trophy this year.

But sadly Brazil lost 2-1 to Belgium in the quarterfinal which ended their rather average but lucky run in the tournament.

After Brazil’s exit from Russia, Neymar has taken centre stage – as he had been doing for most of the tournament.

No, not because of his superb performances but due to his antics on the pitch.

Almost every game that Brazil played saw Neymar dive on the pitch and exaggerate the fouls – but thankfully to minimum effect.

And these antics on the pitch has given birth to the Neymar Challenge.

Yes, it’s officially a thing.

Fans are going to crazy levels in order to mock Neymar and his play-acting and some of them are just hilarious.

KFC South Africa was the first big name to get into the act when-in they made a video which was a clear dig at Neymar and his exaggerations on the pitch.

Then came Premier League legend Eric Cantona who compared Neymar to his yellow suitcase and also compliment the PSG man for being a great actor.

And now Portugal’s National Medical Emergency Institute is using Neymar’s picture to show people what exactly classifies as an emergency.

The INEM released an image of an injured Neymar with the caption: “75.8 of the calls [to our service] are also not emergencies”
