Jose Mourinho tactics to be used in the FA Cup final?

Tottenham Hotspur have been going through a really tough phase this season and things have not improved drastically under their new manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho took charge of Spurs a couple of weeks ago and initially things were going uphill at a really nice speed. But during the past few matches, the North London side have been on the decline once again and things could get even worse now that Harry Kane has been ruled out of action.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward has most likely been ruled out for the rest of the season with some reports claiming he could even miss the EURO 2020.

Next up, the Lilywhites travel to Vicarage Road in order to take on Watford in the Premier League and some people feel the absence of Kane could be a real problem for Jose Mourinho and his plans.

But according to pundit Charlie Nicholas, while the forward will be missed during the weekend but Tottenham Hotspur need not worry too much about picking up a win vs the Hornets.

He told Sky Sports: “Tottenham will miss Harry Kane. They have survived before but he is their best player, so they will miss him.

“They have the same defence that they have had in the last three or four years. They still play the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose, Eric Dier and Harry Winks just in front, as well as adding Davinson Sanchez to that over the years.

“Where is the crisis? Is there really that much to worry about?

“I heard the Tottenham fans were having a pop at Christian Eriksen. Why are they booing him? Did they boo Vertonghen, Alderweireld or Rose? No.

“Why focus on Christian Eriksen? He has been a fabulous player for them. They are back to being pessimists and searching for excuses.

“Nigel Pearson has been honest and told his Watford team that they are good players. The defence are listening to Pearson as he knows what he is doing in that department.

“They are getting more and more belief, despite this being a tough match.”
