Liverpool welcome arch-rivals Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend and all eyes will be on this match in order to see if Ole can stop the Reds juggernaut.
Man United currently remain the only side who have managed to pick up points against Liverpool in the league this season and in general, the OT outfit have performed exceptionally well against the traditional top-six this season.
United have beaten the likes of Spurs and Man City already and many are hoping that they will be able to inflict Klopp’s first league defeat of the current season.
According to Michael Owen, the away side have an array of attacking talent but they fall really short when it comes to quality midfielders which is why he thinks Liverpool will be able to edge this one on Sunday.
Owen told BetVictor: “Wayne Rooney scored the only goal of the game the last time Manchester United won at Anfield over four years ago, and it is hard to see past another win for Jurgen Klopp’s runaway league leaders on Sunday in the big game of the weekend.
“It is well documented that Liverpool have only dropped two points so far this season and that was in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford back in October.
“That stat will not be lost on Jurgen Klopp or the Reds players and supporters who will want to beat all other 19 sides en route to their first Premier League title.
“United have exciting forwards, but they lack the energy and quality of Liverpool in the middle of the field and that is where I expect the game to be won.
“Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 51 home league games – I expect them to make it 52 and counting in one of the most iconic games of the season.”
Man United are without Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba and without the pair, the Red Devils have really struggled to take control of matches in the middle of the pitch.
As for Liverpool, Naby Keita and James Milner remain sidelined but there are possibilities that Fabinho might return back to the matchday squad after a rather long injury lay-off.
