Rangers FC have just announced the signing of midfielder Lassana Coulibaly on a season-long loan from Angers.

And by the looks of it, the Gers are set to make their ninth signing within the next 24 hours.

According to a report by the Football Italia, AS Roma striker Umar Sadiq has arrived in Scotland to complete a transfer to Rangers FC.

Umar Sadiq has been on the radar of the Light Blues for some time now and over the past couple of days, the gossip columns were in hyperdrive.

And it finally looks the deal is about to be wrapped up.

Umar Sadiq has been pictured arriving at Edinburgh Airport to complete his move to Ibrox which will be the striker’s third loan spell after Bologna and Torino.

Sadiq is one of the brighter prospects at Roma but the youngster has failed to break into the first team prompting him to move around Europe on various loan deals.

AS Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco decided to leave Umar Sadiq out of his 31 man squad for the pre-season training camp a couple of days back which was reason enough to believe that the 21-year-old was on his way to Glasgow.

Rangers have just announced the signing of Lassana Coulibaly and multiple reports are claiming that the transfer of Umar Sadiq should be completed within the next 24 hours.
