Manchester United are on the hunt for a new manager while Ole Solskjaer takes care of the club as an interim manager and the name of Mauricio Pochettino is shining very brightly.

The Spurs boss has made it clear that he is currently focused on his job at hand but multiple reports are claiming that he is the man who is wanted by Ed Woodward.

While at present there are no signs of Mauricio Pochettino leaving Spurs but a report in the Metro has suggested that the Argentinian has been enticed by the job and would consider moving to Old Trafford after the end of the season.

But according to his fellow manager Unai Emery, Pochettino is more than happy with managing Spurs and he has no reason to join Manchester United.

“I think he’s very happy at Tottenham. I think he’s coaching a very big team and now they are in the Champions League,” the Arsenal manager told Sky Sports.

“They are also in a better position in the Premier League than Manchester United,

“I think his performance at Tottenham is very big. I don’t know if he’s thinking to change for another club, but I am looking at him with a very big commitment to Tottenham and he’s creating a good performance at Tottenham.”

Mauricio Pochettino is currently the favourite become the next Manchester United manager followed by former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane.

But if Ed Woodward wants either of these two to come to Old Trafford next season then he will have to ensure that the club manages to keep their Champions League status for the next campaign.
