West Ham United have been going through a really rough phase and once again they tasted defeat, going down 2-0 against Wolves away from home in the Premier League.

And as if things could not get any tougher, the Hammers will take on Arsenal at the London Stadium on Monday night.

West Ham have suffered four losses out of their last five league matches and on top of that their home form has been terrible meaning there is a very slender chance that Manuel Pellegrini’s men can take something out of this game.

But one major boost of confidence is that Arsenal themselves are in terrible form having failed to win in any of their last six league games.

West Ham United team news vs Arsenal:

Lukasz Fabianski has been recovering from a thigh injury and the manager has confirmed that the keeper is ruled out of the Arsenal game. This means 33-year-old David Martin will once again play in front of goal for the Hammers.

Manuel Lanzini is also on the sidelines with an injury and will only return back to full fitness sometime next month.

Jack Wilshere has returned back to training after recovering from a hip injury and the midfielder will be itching to start against his former club. But as per reports, Wilshere will have to go through a late fitness test in order to determine his availability.

The same goes in case of Michael Antonio who might have to sit out the Arsenal game just like he did against Wolves in midweek.

If Antonio does make himself fit in time then he is expected to replace Sebastien Haller upfront.

Robert Snodgrass picked up an injury during the Wolves defeat and remains a doubt for the West Ham vs Arsenal clash on Monday. But as per the latest reports, he should be fit enough to start against the Gunners.

Balbuena played in central defence against Wolves but he should be replaced by Issa Diop while some rumours claim Pablo Zabaleta could also come into the side.

While Pellegrini will be eager to use Zabaleta’s experience in defence but we think Fredericks will keep his place in the West Ham starting line-up.

West Ham’s predicted XI vs Arsenal:

Starting XI: David Martin; Cresswell, Diop, Ogbonna, Fredericks; Noble, Declan Rice, Snodgrass, Fornals; Haller/Antonio, Anderson.
