West Ham United are planning to make a move for Rangers FC keeper Robbie McCrorie during the upcoming summer transfer window – as per the Daily Record.

Robbie McCrorie has come up through the ranks at Rangers and right now he is out on loan to Livingston FC having joined the club during the January transfer window.

And it looks like David Moyes wants to bring in the 22-year-old as the long-term replacement to his current No 1 Lukasz Fabianski.

Fabianski is already 35 years old meaning he will have to be replaced pretty soon which is why the Hammers are looking at the Gers lad as a possible solution.

TransferMarkt currently values him at €200,000 and the player still has two years left on his current deal at Ibrox.

As per reports, Rangers are trying to offer the player a new long-term deal at the club but this interest from West Ham United has surely derailed, their projects for the time being.

Any young player will love to play in England and if that opportunity comes in the form of a top London club then surely the Dailly-born lad will look to move across the border in the summer.

While Rangers will love to hold onto the 22-year-old but owing to this crisis situation, the club might very well take the transfer fee and use it for other essential purposes.

It’s still unclear as to how much the Glasgow outfit will ask for McCrorie, but there’s a possibility they could quote a few million in exchange of their shot-stopper.

And if this is truly the case then it should not be much of a concern for West Ham United.
