Arsenal are planning to offload Mesut Ozil during the summer transfer window and right now the London club are looking for a buyer.

The Gunners had offered the German to Serie A side Inter Milan last week as they had shown interest in the player last summer.

But Inter have made it clear that they have no interest in signing Mesut Ozil.

Selling off Mesut Ozil would mean the Gunners can finally free up some funds to bring in new players at the end of the season.

And it looks like Unai Emery has already shortlisted the player who is going to replace the German.

As per the latest reports, Arsenal are planning to launch a bid for attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.

Who is Kai Havertz?

Kai Havertz is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

Havertz has come up through the ranks at Leverkusen and this season the 19-year-old has caught the attention of many top European clubs.

The midfielder has so far played in 28 games for Bayer this current season and has managed to provide six assists and score 11 goals.

Can Arsenal afford Kai Havertz?

Reports have claimed that Unai Emery will be given a 50 million euros transfer budget for the summer and currently TransferMarkt values the youngster at 65 million euros.

So on paper, Kai Havertz is well out of reach of the London club and in order to sign the youngster they need to sell off Mesut Ozil as soon as the current season ends plus they also need to make sure that they make a good amount of money from that deal.
