West Ham United seems to have finally decided to cash in on their forward Marko Arnautovic – as per the latest reports.

Marko Arnautovic was instrumental for the Hammers last season as his good form saw the London outfit steer clear of the relegation zone before the end of the season.

But now it seems that Manuel Pellegrini’s club have decided to sell him off primarily after his demands.

According to a report by Claret and Hugh – a website who are pretty reliable when it comes to news on the Hammers, have claimed that the forward has demanded a significant hike on his wage.

It is being believed that Arnautovic’s brother has told the club that his client wants £200k a week in the form of wages.

A senior Hammers told Claret and Hugh: “The story is true. Arnautovic’s bother has put in a £200k a week demand which breaks our pay structure.”

After this demand, West Ham have decided that enough is enough and now they are reportedly willing to listen to bids for the forward.

Marko Arnautovic though recently told Sky Sports that he is currently focused on returning back to the Premier League this weekend.

“I don’t want to talk about that. I concentrate on West Ham and we have a big game against Manchester City on Saturday and I am only thinking about this game and the following games,” he told Sky Sports.

“Whatever is going on with my agent and the clubs is not my business. My business is to perform on the pitch, to put in performances and that is what I want to do.”

After this statement, some pundits believe that the Hammers management will cave in and meet the demands of the forward which is why Arnautovic gave a very politically correct reply.

But there is still no news coming out of the London stadium which means that a number of Premier League clubs still remain interested in the player.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been a long-standing admirer of the forward while recent reports claimed that both Chelsea and Everton are planning to make a move for Marko Arnautovic at the end of the season.
