Man United are rather surprisingly looking to part ways with defender Eric Bailly and the player could be on his way to the Serie A this summer.
On Twitter, ManUnitedZone cited Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport saying: “AC Milan were offered the opportunity to sign Eric Bailly this summer. No Milan offer for the moment”

This is a bit of a shocker since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has always opted to use Eric Bailly whenever he has been fully fit(especially during the cup & Europa League matches).
Should Eric Bailly be sold by Man United?
But if this report is true then there’s a big chance that the Man United manager is looking to bring in some central defenders during the ongoing transfer window which is why he’s busy clearing all the deadwood.
Whenever Eric Bailly plays, the 26-year-old looks solid at the back but most often than not, he is spending time in the medical room.
With such a long-injury list, there’s no way Solskjaer will risk using him as his first-choice centre-back next season.
Victor Lindelof has done pretty well alongside Harry Maguire during the 2019-20 season and there have been rumours that the Old Trafford outfit are planning to bring in someone like Kalidou Koulibaly.
If this is truly the case then we can understand why the club are offering the services of Eric Bailly to clubs from the front.
This season, the Ivorian has featured in only four Premier League matches as he missed 28 games for the club due to a knee surgery.
