Man United are desperate to hold onto midfielder Paul Pogba beyond the summer but they might not be able to – thanks to his agent Mino Raiola, as per the Daily Mail.

Pogba has not been able to settle down at Old Trafford ever since his return and rumours are ripe that he wishes to head back to Juventus this summer. And according to the report, his agent will make sure that the transfer goes through before the 202/21 season kicks off.

The report claims: “Manchester United believe that Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is the only person who wants him to leave the club in the summer, according to reports.

“Despite that, The Times report that United are confident their £89million man will remain into next season, and they believe that Raiola is the only man who wants Pogba to leave.

“Financially, securing Pogba’s next big transfer would be lucrative for Raiola, a man who has earned millions from previous transfers involving his big-name stars.”

Will Man United be able to hold onto Paul Pogba?

Over the course of the year, Mino Raiola has time and again hinted that he wishes Paul Pogba to move out of Man United.

In March, the super-agent had admitted that he wants a top player like Paul Pogba to play for Real Madrid(another club who have been heavily linked with him).

“I definitely want to take a great player to Real Madrid, and I will try to do so this summer,” Raiola, told Marca, as reported by talkSPORT.

“It would be a source of pride for me and my players because Real Madrid are a great club.

“My relationship with Los Blancos is very good. I am in contact with Jose Angel (Sanchez) and I love discussing football with him.”

While Real Madrid still hold a substantial interest in the player, everyone is confident that it will be Juventus who will get their hands on the World Cup winner in the summer.

Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he wants Paul Pogba to stay at Old Trafford next season and some experts believe the Frenchman might just be tempted to stay back thanks to all the right moves the club are making in the transfer market.

Man United have already signed Bruno Fernandes during the January transfer window and are expected to bring in players like Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish in the summer.
