Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a fantastic last week where he managed to beat the likes of Spurs and then Manchester City back-to-back in the Premier League.

But this weekend, they dropped points once again, this time Everton holding then to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

With these two dropped points, Solskjaer has now drawn 7 games in the league this season and has also missed a golden chance to get even closer to the top-four spot on the table.

And while many people have said that Man United have moved one step backwards after drawing vs Everton on Sunday but according to their Norwegian boss, they are very much in the right track.

The Man United boss said via The Independent: “I’ve really enjoyed it, I think we’re on the right track. One 10-minute spell here was poor, just before they scored, but I’m not going to change my mind from before the weekend.

“I’m looking forward to going into work again because these boys want to improve and learn. You always want wins, and you want the momentum to carry on, but we’ve had three wins since the Aston Villa draw.

“We’ve taken a few steps forward and this is not a big step backwards, it’s more of a stand-still, not improving. We are, as a team and a group, going forward.”

Man United have shown sparks of brilliance under Solskjaer this season but they have been lacking consistency right now.

Against Spurs and City, we saw with what precision the Man United attackers can pick apart their rivals but now its a matter of them turning up in each and every match so that the Red Devils do not have to drop unnecessary points.

Just last month, there were rumours of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being at risk of losing his job but now it’s safe to say that the manager has the full backing of the management as well as the fans.
