Celtic FC and Rangers FC are both in action this midweek as they look to hunt European glory – following two very different paths obviously.

While Celtic are scheduled to take on Rosenborg in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers, Rangers will take on Osijek at the same stage but in the Europa League category.

The Light Blues travel to Eastern Croatia where they will take on NK Osijek on Thursday night while Celtic welcome Rosenborg at Celtic Park on Wednesday.

And while many fans have been sweating about the broadcasting of the games – there is some good news as well as bad news.

Will Celtic’s home game against Rosenborg be on TV?

Celtic FC have refused to sell any UK or overseas rights for their home Champions League qualifiers in order to avoid illegal broadcasting and also to urge the fans to come to the stadium.

So, if you are a viewer in the UK, Celtic’s home game against Rosenborg will not be available on TV. But it is not yet clear if the Hoops will broadcast the game for the Celtic TV subscribers.
