Forward Harry Kane picked up an ankle injury during Bayern’s 5-2 victory vs Darmstadt right before the international break but he could be fit in time to face Arsenal.

He did join the England squad for the international break but went back to Bayern Munich to continue his rehabilitation and the club has now confirmed that Harry Kane has returned to individual training.

“Harry Kane completed an individual training session at FC Bayern’s training ground on Monday morning,” an official statement read. “The 30-year-old striker worked with the ball alongside fitness coach Holger Broich. Kane had suffered an ankle injury in the 5-2 win over Darmstadt in the Bundesliga and returned back to Munich from the England national team camp at the weekend.”

Kane moved to Germany last summer and he’s had an immediate impact at Bayern, scoring 31 goals in 26 league appearances with an xG of 25.63. Currently, he netted 37 goals across all competitions and he’s averaging more than 1 goal a game.

His injury was a major blow for the Bavarians because right after the break, they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and then just 11 days later they head to North London to take on Arsenal in the Champions League.

Harry Kane being a Spurs lad looks would love to face Arsenal, that too in the UCL and now, there’s a big chance that he will be fit in time.

The 30-year-old will most likely not be ready for the BVB encounter and then the away trip to FC Heidenheim but Thomas Tuchel will be keeping his hopes high for the trip to England.

Harry Kane, during his time in England, has played 19 games against Arsenal and the England international has scored 14 goals alongside three assists so if he is available then it will be a major boost for Bayern’s qualification hopes.
