Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise and the winger prefers a move to Old Trafford.

After his disastrous campaign, United will most likely sell Antony at the end of this season which is why Erik ten Hag is so eager to add a new right-winger to his squad during the summer and Olise happens to be his priority number one.

The winger has been with Crystal Palace since joining them from Reading in 2021 and this season, he’s scored five and assisted one goal in nine Premier League games for the Eagles.

Chelsea had tried to sign Michael Olise last summer but in the end, the winger went on to sign a four-year deal with Palace under the terms of which, the France international reportedly earns £100,00-per-week.

Palace are in no hurry to cash in on the right-winger but they are helpless right now because Michael Olise is said to be well aware of the interests and he prefers a move to Manchester United over Chelsea.

He is a lifelong Man United fan which is why he considers a transfer to Old Trafford a dream move.

It’s being claimed that United are ready to send Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Selhurst Park as a part of the swap deal and if Olise wants to join them over Chelsea then there’s very little the Blues can do. The Blues currently have Noni Madueke who is a natural right-winger so Pochettino has to bring in one more player for the position.

However, it will be very hard for them to overtake Man United in this transfer race and the only way they can jump the queue is by offering a massive salary package to the Palace man.

Last summer, Michael Olise had a £35 million release clause in his contract but it’s being reported that he has a £60 million release clause in his fresh deal which can be triggered in the summer.
