Chelsea winger Willian is set to be a free agent at the end of the 2019/20 season and it’s highly probable that the 31-year-old ends up playing for Arsenal.

Other Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Spurs have also shown interest in signing him but as per Bleacher Report, the Gunners are likely to land him in the summer.

The 31-year-old had admitted that he wishes to remain in London during the final phase of his playing career which automatically put Arsenal on the driver’s seat.

Willian had said, as per Goal: “I have played for Chelsea for more than six years now, and I can honestly say that I am very happy here.

“If you ask my wife if she wants to leave London, she’ll say no. My daughters feel the same way. Of course, Brazil is Brazil, right? It’s our home, our culture. We always feel good when we go there on holiday and see family and friends, but London is my second home.

“Chelsea have a policy which we respect and understand but Willian has a career and he has ambition. He wants to finish his playing career at a very high level.”

But the North London side are reportedly ready to offer him a three-year deal at the club.

Also, at Chelsea, Willian currently earns £120,000-a-week which Mikel Arteta’s side are willing to match.

So clearly, if everything falls into place then Willian should be snubbing interests from Spurs and Liverpool in order to join the Emirates outfit.

Despite being in the final year of his contract with the Blues, Willian has played in 28 Premier League matches so far, scoring five and assisting another five goals.
