Wolves beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League in midweek and next up they take on Chelsea away from home in the final matchday on Sunday.

Wolves were thrashed 5-2 by Chelsea in the reverse fixture back in September but Nuno’s side would be looking to avoid such humiliation since a loss could force them to finish below Spurs on the league table.

And if Arsenal were to win the FA Cup final later this month then finishing seventh in the PL could force Wolves out of the Europa League next season.

Wolves have not beaten the Blues in their last six matches at the Bridge but they will be itching to chance this stat and in turn, force Chelsea out of the top four.

Wolves team news vs Chelsea:

Wolves are perhaps the only side who have a fully fit squad so clearly Nuno Espirito Santo will have no issues selecting his strongest XI on Sunday.

Willy Boly and Conor Coady will keep their place from midweek but Dendoncker will be replaced by Roman Saiss in the three-man defensive line.

Joao Moutinho and Neves will reprise their role in central midfield while Doherty will also keep his place as the right-wing back at Stamford Bridge.

Jonny Castro scored the second goal for Wolves vs Palace in midweek and he will also start against Chelsea on Sunday.

Daniel Podence found the back of the net against Palace and it will be interesting to see if the Wolves boss opts to stick with him or does he move him back to the bench.

Podence can play on either wing but if the manager does decide to name him in the starting line-up then it would be Jota who will make way for him while Adama Traore operates on the right flank.
